Background & Education
Dr. Alexis is a native of eastern North Carolina. After earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and she went on to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a dentist at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN. She then continued her training by completing a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program in North Carolina before relocating to Maryland to practice as a general dentist.
Dr. Alexis practiced for 3 years, and then her passion for treating children motivated her to obtain specialized training in Pediatric Dentistry. She completed her pediatric dentistry residency program at East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in Greenville, NC, and is now proudly treating children and educating parents on the importance of oral health and hygiene.

Outside the Practice
When away from the office, Dr. Alexis enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She loves to read and travel and is a self-proclaimed foodie who also loves cooking and trying new restaurants. She is so excited to join the team, and can’t wait to see your smiling faces!
